Color blind girl is drawn with the screen set to black and white, then half of the panel is made black and white. To the person who is completely colorblind both sides should look very similar. Colorblindness is much more common than you think. Partially color blind is 1 in 12 men, and 1 in 200 women. 1 in 30,000 has total colorblindness (monochromacy).
