Imperfections of Life

Life is beautiful, life is ugly, life is joyous, life is painful, life is so sweet, life is so cruel. This series is to celebrate the imperfections of life - a child born with only black and white vision, a terrible accident resulting in amputation, a young woman diagnosed with cancer - all of these things happen to people every day. We can allow these imperfections to drag us through the depths of hell or we can find ways to overcome these bitter sufferings and look for peace. Is the cup half empty or is it half full. Lets celebrate the life that is still ours to enjoy and tolerate the imperfect life that just is.

Awareness - do we even know the people we claim to know so well. Do we know that our coworker is color blind, that another coworker is deathly allergic to bees, that their sister has Alzheimer's. Do we know them really? Many times this art series has caused people to tell me their story, a story you would never guess ... maybe this art will touch your heart, or spark a conversation, an out pouring of their soul.  If nothing else may this art cause us to remember that others cope with imperfections also.

Half of the sale of this art goes to charity, sometimes all of it, prints are sometimes donated to charity auctions.
